A curry man will survive, we say grace and we say lamb....Heritage India Review

The trees coexistence with their leaf counterparts disperse as the blue skies now turn a somber gray. The coat check room becomes accessible transposing into something other than a place for waiters to take the new hostess.  The dismal return of winter brings about the innate desire for warmth provoking a spicier curry to be conjured by curry aficionados. My quest for this spicy curry was found at Heritage India in Dupont.  Myself and fellow Curry Connoisseur known by his curry name  "CCC" had a swagger about us as entered.  A dimly lit setting revealed an unpretentious throwback in an age of ethnic foodie hotspots. Instead, portraits of past India rulers, tigers, and Indian textiles adorned the walls. After inquiring about the spiciest curry, I ordered the lamb vindaloo. The heat was subtle yet matured throughout the meal leaving me satisfied with perfectly cooked lamb and authentic spice.  I highly recommend venturing to Heritage India in Dupont.
